NIKKI REACHES THE FINAL in THE GIRL'S 14 ROOKIE TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to Nikki Rode for being the finalist of the girl's 14 rookie tournament at Red Bug Park on August 9!!! You made me proud once again!
QUICK START! TENNIS - OPEN HOUSE SPECIAL EVENT, September 20. Register now!!!!
CFTA along with USTA of Florida will host an open house at Westmonte Park to promote a new tennis program called "Quick Start". The new format offers a lower net height, a smaller size racquet, a foam ball, and a smaller court perimeter. Quick Start stresses the importance of play and team competition, which can be incorporated into other existing programs.
When: Saturday, September 20th
Where: Westmonte Park
Time: 10:30am to 12 noon
Ages: 5 through 10 years old
Cost: $5.00 per child
HIGH PERFORMANCE JUNIOR TRAINING - REGISTER TODAY!!
CFTA starts to offer a new program, "High Performance Junior Training" every friday from Friday, August 29 from 5:30-7pm. It consists of 1-hour tennis drills & strategies and 30 minutes of high intensive conditioning. We will only take the first 8 players to register. The fee is $80 per month. Register today by emailing Driss at info@cfltennis.com.
CFTA Offering Flex Singles and Doubles League - the next season starts on August 24!!!
With many inquiries & requests from many players in Central Florida, CFTA starts Flex Doubles League from the next season starting on August 24. The cost is $30 per player per season for singles, $25 per player per season (or $50 per pair per season) for doubles.
Fall 2008: August 24 through October 12, 2008 (8 weeks).
Registration Deadline: August 16, 2008.
Division: Singles and Doubles -Men's A, Men's B, Men's C, Women's A, Women's B and Women's
Each division is limited to have maximum 8 pairs (16 players) for doubles, and 8 players in singles. Please register today to secure your spot. For more details, please check cfltennis.com under 'Flex League' tab.
